NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK
Last week, May 19-25 was National Volunteer Week. This year’s theme was Connecting Communities which emphasises the power of volunteering to bring people together and strengthen communities. National Volunteer Week aims to recognise the diverse passions and talents each person brings to the act of volunteering, and invites people to consider ways in which they can contribute their time to an important cause.
Thank you to the many people who volunteer for us.

❤️ uniform swaps
❤️ in the tuckshop and so much more!
There is a legislative requirement that any volunteers at our school must fulfil the following:
- Be a parent OR hold a Blue Card for working with children
- Complete Volunteer Training every two calendar years
- Sign in and out, at the office, for every volunteer session
Changes in legislation and updates to Catholic Education processes have resulted in a change of some aspects of the training and quiz. There are no longer MoGC specific Evacuation and Lockdown procedures outlined within the online training. Information regarding these processes will appear regularly in the newsletter so all members of our community are aware of and can respond accordingly.
